DD's Landscaping

Background

In 2006, DD's Landscaping was a well established landscaping company operating in the Northern Suburbs for around 15 years. When the drought kicked in, a lot of the smaller players were left high and dry, so to speak.  DD's had enough momentum to survive the hard times for a while, then realised that something needed to change in their business model, dramatically, as the drought was not looking like easing, and water restrictions were not about to be lifted any time soon.

The Problem 

DD's decided to move into the synthetic lawn and artifical turf business. The concept was similar to laying real turf, but the industry is quite new to Australia, so clients required educating, and DD's had no reputation whatsoever in this particular area of expertise. DD's management invested in staff training, and product research, then had Salsa take care of their exposure, deciding to try the internet as a means of getting the word out about the artificial lawn industry, and the services DD's can provide.

The Solution

DD's now spends less on their Pay Per Click campaign, rank in the top 3 on Google for all of the important key words, and receive in excess of 100 enquiries per week, purely from their online marketing spend with Salsa, returning around 3000% on their investment.
